Picking Betel Nuts (採檳榔)
On the tall tree grows the betel nuts.
Whoever climb up first will taste them first.
Whoever climb up first, I will pack for him first.
Young man picks the betel nuts.
Young lady hold the basket, look up and think.
He is handsome; he is also strong.
Who can be better than him?
I hurry to call my lover
The green mountain is tall, and the water runs a long way.
The Sun has set, and the returning birds are singing.
Telling the two of us to hurry back to our home village.
